Four kittens

Yes, there are only four kittens in this video.. but darn it if it doesn't look like more when they are going full tilt like this in time lapse..

Kitten Sitting..

Well at this point there are no kittens at the shelter for me. A friend of mine is fostering for a different rescue and she has kittens but she is going away for the holiday and asked if I wouldn't mind taking over her kittens.

I was very hesitant to do so.  See her kittens are very scared and two are still in that feralish stage.  They are past the age when I feel I can properly give them the attention they need to come to accept humans, so I very much wanted to say no afraid I'd become too attached, but I really wanted kittens.  So I came to the decision that it would do them a world of good to go from one safe environment (where they were) to another (where they are now) and back again. So I agreed to take them on the condition they go back to her as soon as she gets home.

These two are more outgoing.  I've seen both of them come out from under the couch while I was in the room. I can eventually touch both of them.  The other two have plastered themselves behind the couch. I have yet to see them on the web cam, but I'm sure they came out and ate last night.. if I don't see them today I'll force the issue tonight, just to make sure they are OK.
