With out any real kids to call our own, my husband and I celebrate "Mother's Day" and "Father's Day" on behalf of the cats. This year I got a cake and a nice hand written card from "The Crew" thanking me for all I do for them through out the year, even if they don't like it.
This year, a few weeks ago, my husband showed me a picture he took of Kit and he said he really liked it, so I thought I would have fun with it this year. When I got an email a little over a week ago from Treat.com offering me a free card, I thought I'd make one using the image.
I had also previously won a photo frame from A Pet's Life and I had every intention of putting Kit's photo in it for my husband, so I had it engraved for that purpose. A Pet's Life is a pet memorial site, so generally it would be engraved with the name and dates of a pet that has passed. While I adore all of my pets and miss them terribly when they pass, having an actual physical reminder of that displayed in the house is not something I really want, so this worked out nicely.
I wrapped the gift and put it on his chair..
and apparently Kit really wanted to see him unwrap his present, because when my husband found his gift a while later he took and sent me this photo
