Helping Theo

So I have been weighing Theo every time I see him to make sure things are still in "OK Land" and once again last night he weighed 1lb 8 oz.

This morning I picked him up and brought him over to the scale and held him while I turned it on.  It takes a minute to zero out and be ready, so as I waited all of his sisters who were screaming at my ankles decided I wasn't paying enough attention to them so they jumped up on the couch then over to the window ledge where the scale currently sits.

I put Theo on the scale and before it could register his sisters started to join him.  Since I was pretty certain getting a reading of 7lbs wasn't going to help me one little bit, I tried to shoo them off the scale.  Well if you have ever tried to tell (or even ask) kittens to not help out, well then you just enjoy - the rest of you can laugh at me.  I look down at Theo's weight only to find it reading 1lb 0 oz because several had decided to walk UNDER the scale.. *rolls eyes*

so once again I shooed kittens away, but by this time Theo was totally done being weighed.  So either he weighed 1lb 8 oz, 1lb 8.5 oz or 1lb 9oz.  I couldn't tell.

But he ate his own breakfast again this morning, so that is something.

(and no, his sisters don't bully him.  I think he was the one with the upset tummy from having not been dewormed and was the originator of all the vomit around the room and he just decided that eating meant vomiting and he wasn't keen on doing that.  I think we are at the point where we just have to break that association and he'll start putting on weight)
