The kittens, the birds, and the bees
The kittens are doing well. They have moved into their "we have too much energy to cuddle right now" phase, which to me means they are ready to go. We still have a few more days of medicine so we'll do another check in on Monday and then find out when the shelter wants them back. If you know anyone who wants two boys who come with really fancy CRAZY pants, let me know 😸
Last year we noticed a bird nest under our porch (way better photos on that post) and this year they decided they would build another one under there again (because we totally took it down hoping not to have to put up with the bird poop again) and yesterday I noticed one of the babies had decided to give flying a chance or mom was sick and tired of it hanging around the house and kicked it out, I have no idea. Well, the bird was not amused.
Mom was determined to wait it out though.. I had to go to work before the bird moved, but when I got home it was gone. Good luck little one.
Remember this photo?
Just wanted you to know it turned into this:
and the bees LOVE it.. There were about five REALLY large bees on it when I went to take photos
and I'm taking all six cats to the vet this afternoon for wellness exams. yes, I am crazy. They are all "senior" now. Anyone want to guess what the total will be?
all 6 at the same time?? bless you
ReplyDelete#1: cutie kittens, they will get adopted quickly!
ReplyDelete#2: Wisteria! So lovely, and I am envious
#3: I am 100% with you on taking all six at once, and hope you have two or three helpers. My advice: keep laughing, 'cause it's going to feel like a clown car situation...LOL!
Oh gosh, good luck on the vet visit!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, all 6? Are you getting a multi cat discount? It's always the bloodwork that is so much $$$ good luck!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not, but I have a half hour ride to the vet so it will save gas if I take them all at the same time, and my addled brain won't wonder when the last time so and so went in, because it will have been all of them :)
DeletePretty shrub! I love seeing bees on blossoms.
ReplyDeleteAll six?! How on earth do you manage that? I am taking two of my three tomorrow morning and that's bad enough. Not financially so much, they are healthy, but just wrangling the carriers.
ReplyDeletea little luck, a little skill, and too many years of playing tetris :D
DeleteOh boy... six kittens at the vet. We bet the vet and the techs will have a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteSix cats at the vet at one time? Oh, my goodness, bless you! I thought it was hard taking two at one time. LOL I love that tree/shrub--beautiful blooms! I hope the bird is soaring and seeing the world.
ReplyDeleteYou're taking SIX cats to the vet in one day?! A couple of times, my human has done it with three, but she needed major help from her boyfriend. Plus Binga got mad at everyone. Well, good luck, and ugh, what a bill you'll have with them all being seniors.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really great picture of the two of them. Just thinking about your vet total... makes our mom want to run and hide, whimpering, into a dark corner.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, all six cats at the same time? That's hardly doable :)
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
It doesn't get any better than crazy pants, does it? I can't imagine SIX cats at the same time ... I'd have to start "catching" them HOURS before the appointment!
ReplyDeleteSix kittens at the same time at the vet sounds like a challenge for you, and lots of fun for the vet team ! Purrs
