I haz a sad

Yesterday I learned of the passing of Togus.

Togas was a rescue cat owned by one of the reporters, Don Carrigan, for the local news.  We first met him when he did a remote from his home to report on the bad weather.  Togus used to jump up on the table and lay down with out a care in the world and basically interrupt all the bad news about the snow and the ice and the what not with his handsome furry tuckus.  He made me look forward to snow days.

Then Don decided to make him a public figure.  Well I suppose when you get right down to it I'm sure the public cried out for him to be a public figure.  I mean his Facebook page has more fans then the news he showed up on.

He made public appearances and fans would flock.

And also came along siblings.  I adore the Carrigans for rescuing..
Junior and Wally adopted from the Lincoln County Animal Shelter
And then in 2011 they published a book..
and later a coloring book
Then being a big celebrity Togus started getting around.. at first it was local.. then he got a little more adventurous.

And then there was his rise to fame in the music video world..

followed by this.. (oh totally kidding, but isn't it absolutely adorable! I love his eyes)

Togus, you will be missed greatly.  Not only by your wonderfully devoted parents, but by the community at large.. (and me in particular)
