Want to play?
I so want to name her Minx or Jinx.. but I haven't been able to stop calling him Romeo, so she is going to be Juliette.
We have made a great deal of progress in her hatred of other cats. She has seen him many a time and not growled at him, but if she is not expecting to see him when she turns around or what not she will still. She also seems to guard the entrance to the litter box box, so I have created a second entrance. Romeo is very much an omega kitty. He is still shy from not understanding people and life in a home, but I also get the distinct impression he doesn't believe he should be front and center. Last night I brought him upstairs and walked him around again and gave him a bite of raw food which he loved very much. I'm hoping I can convince him he deserves more then he has decided he should get.

'Omega' kitty, - what a perfect expression. My Red was an omega kitten. He would rather sit back and watch his siblings jump for the string toys. I think that was something that very much endeared him to me. He was the biggest and furriest of all the kittens in both his and another littler born in the same few days. But he was very much more laid back. Some of the little ones were much more tenacious and would grab the string toy and growl and not. let. go. ever.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna remebr 'omega'.
