Day by Day

Pay no attention to the PJs.. :)

Well Odilia is getting more and more assured and independent.  She is able to jump off my leg pretty confidently and land on her feet.  The other day she was out and about and was hungry and made it back into the cage to have something to eat... which to me signaled she was ready to be let free in the room full time.. However I wasn't quite ready to accept she was ready.. you know how it is, you get over protective and it is hard to let go.  I've been giving her more and more running around time and she's been doing well so last night was the first night I left her out.  There really isn't anything for her to harm herself on, the biggest obstacle would be that she might not find the litter box.

She LOVES when I lay on the ground and interact with her.  She loves crawling under my head (I lay on my stomach) and playing with my hair, and weaving her way in and out of my arms. She also likes climbing up on to my back and biting my behind, then climbing up to my shoulder and playing with my hair some more.

I'm coming to the realization that she plays hard.  What I thought was over stimulation (and to some extent she still has some stimulation aggression  is just her being talkative and playing.  I'm working on telling her in her language when she goes too far (the whole "ow" like a meow) and she does understand and stops biting me, but I keep forgetting to do it, mostly because she goes from being cute and interactive to bite-y and claw-y in an instant.  I am pretty certain that now she is playing more with toys that this will be less and less likely to happen.
