Introducing...

I know I know, it seems wrong that "boy" and "girl" have gone with out names for this long.  I was wracking my brain trying to be clever and I just couldn't do it.  I wanted to come up with two words with similar meanings that started with c and k and would work for a boy and a girl.. I was trying all too hard to be clever, and as such I got no where.

Then one day it was the awesome Amy Palmer's birthday and I wanted to do something really nice for her because .. well she's really nice.  but I'm not clever at photoshop like some and just saying 'Happy Birthday" seemed anticlimactic..

and in a "you've got peanut butter in my chocolate" kind of moment, I had a wonderfully brilliant idea.  I'd let Amy name them.

She took some time and thought it through and we are proud to announce we now have names..

Boy - hence forth to be known as "Cubbie"
Cubbie is much shier than his siblings.  He is a fierce little wrestler, and loves to climb, but is not a fan of me nor my husband (who all the cats love)  I am working on him, and hopefully in time he'll run towards me instead of away.

Girl - hence forth to be known as Koshka
Koshka is much more outgoing.  She rivals Verona for attention seeker of the group.  She LOVES to climb and was the first one up on the green tube, and she likes to be petted and kissed and to have her belly rubbed.

Amy is a really sweet caring and lovely person.  She runs a blog seabasscat.com and has a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SeabassCat and volunteers quite regularly at her local shelter Wayside Waifs. I hope you stop by and say hi..

  3. Koshka & Cubbie, you are both TOTALLY adorable! Great names, too! Sometimes you just have to wait for the right one to reveal itself. Naming kitties is VERY challenging for MomKatt ...
