Shooting at the Shelter Series

These are the photos I took the day of the kitten shower. It was quite busy so I didn't get a close up on a lot of them, like this first one.

I want to sleep anyway
This pretty girl seems to be suffering from flea allergies as she had quite a few scabs
Gerbil
White bunny
Bonded pair of bunnies
This wee one was exhausted.. she was in an adult cat room for some reason
watching the world go by
This kitty was a dark chocolate color.. really quite beautiful
a couple of the girl scouts tucked this boy in for his nap.
He was actually adopted moments after I took this photo.

  1. Such cute photos! Does your shelter have a lot of "fuzzy others"? We're just realizing how many non dog and cats end up in shelters.

    1. they get a fair amount.. there is almost always at least three or four bunnies.. They recently took in a whole slew of small rodents from someone who had let them breed uncontrollably.

  8. So many critters looking for homes! I'm surprised at how many non-kitties are there. Paws up to the orange kitty for getting adopted!
