Ashton and Newton try to teach me to hunt lizards (and a few more photos from Global)

While I was staying at Ashton's BNB, Ashton took it upon herself to show me proper lizard hunting techniques. She knows we don't have lizards up here in Maine, so it was a new experience for me.

First thing you have to do is sit patiently and wait

When they climb the screen, you just go right up after them.

Newton stopped by to remind Ashton that climbing the screen is technically against the rules

Ashton says you do what you have to to get the lizard.

Here are a few more photos from my trip. I was able to meet Ashton's Cousin Shep. He was a very handsome and sociable boy. I was able to see Cousin Earl but he was not willing to risk that I might catnap him.

Here are a few more photos from Global. There were a lot of pocket pets there and there were some adoptable puppies that I didn't get a photo of because there was a line three people deep to get near them. Travelin Jack really liked these treat displays. He thought they should have treats in them though and not be full of air.

  13. That treat photo had me confused as to how you shrunk down Travelin Jack for a moment. Our kitties can't chase the lizards here...unless one winds up in their catio.
