Anyone in North Dakota want a pair of kittens?

Jim Johnson is looking for a home for a pair of kittens he rescued from hornets.  It is an absolutely wonderful story, and Jim has made many kitty lovers very happy by sharing his story.  I know he made me smile pretty broadly despite the fact that there were originally three kittens in this story.

Jim heard mewing, and found three kittens in a window well covered in hornets.  One was mewing, two were motionless.  He decided the only way to save them was to tick the hornets off so much they went after him and not the kittens.

I can tell you right now, my husband could NEVER do this.  He has an irrational fear of anything stingy.. (I had to save him from a hornet the other morning.. but that's OK, because he removed the spiders in the basement for me - not that I fear spiders, I just don't like killing them, and I find that spiders I try to remove from inside have a high mortality rate.. they don't much like it when I slide paper under the jar I catch them in)

Thank you Jim.  I hope you are able to find a wonderful home for the two of them.

This is sweet.. until it isn't.

Where's Amy?

When I walked in the room Micky walked up to me.  I found the other kitties...

One... Two... Three...   where's Amy?

That a way...

Really?  you are directing me with your foot?  either this is a well timed Photo Bomb, or you are scary smart..   Ok, well I'll look that a way..

Here I am!

Hey Amy, whatcha doin??

Being cute.

That you are my dear, that you are.  Are you trying to be another Fleurp??

Hum.. I think Fleurp is going to be another me..

Darlin, she was here long before you..

Yea, but I'm cuter..

Cuter?? well you are smaller anyway..

Just so you know

One adult cat and five one pound plus kittens produce enough waste to fill a bag that once held three pounds of dry cat food in two days. Thought you would find that interesting. But probably not. :)
