PureBites Duck from Chewy #chewyinfluencer

This month's Chewy's blogger program (which offers several different products for free in exchange for an honest review) offered two different types of treats that I could feed my cats. I must say I do appreciate it that they carry so many different treats that aren't 'junk food'.  Not that there is anything wrong with giving an occasional treat of something that is less than ideal nutritionally - that is if you have a cat that can tolerate it. Since I have one that doesn't we are so limited here,

I have tried the PureBites before but now they have ten different flavors to choose from. I had not seen the duck option before so I thought I would give it a try. Duck has a pretty good track record over here.

I found it interesting that they gave us both white and dark meat within one package. You rarely see that as most treats only give you breast meat.  But, as always, the big question is, would the cats like it?

Treats here are often inhaled before I can get a good photo, and these were no exception. I only got this one because one of the pieces I gave her was a little too big to be swallowed whole and she had to chew it.

Yes, I would say this was another successful option from Chewy!  Thank you for the treats.

So much progress has been made with the kittens in the past week I thought I'd see if I could get away with doing an official photo shoot. It went better than I expected... Well, mostly.

They were unsure of things, to begin with, but they soon caught on to what I wanted from them and pretty quickly they became relaxed and interested

It was then a freeforall to see who could win, them to knock over the bird, or me to get a family portrait. 

Hanging with the kittens

I wanted to spend some time with the kittens without forcing them to interact with me, so I brought my laptop down and intended to spend some time catching up on my blog reading. With company last week, I'm woefully behind and I found myself with over two hundred posts to get through.

They certainly intend on making that easy for me don't they.  Elie thought you needed to see that 7 there.. *shrug*

After I removed them 100 times from my laptop, this happened.

Seriously.. they were all hanging out with me!  Now I really want to put the couch back in this room :) cause sitting on the floor has been less than fun.

Ooooh, look, Momma, Chewy.com sent me something! They want my opinion on them, and in order to do that, I need to eat them all.. I want to be thorough. Well, it is edible, right? They usually send something to eat in exchange for my opinion.. it's like they know me.

Look, it says treats! that must mean these are for me.. all for me.  Chewy sent me some Weruva Paw Lickin Treats. Does this mean I have to paw at them, or can I just eat them like I really want to? Momma, I can't open this.. HELP!

She is not helping.. why is she making that box flash instead of helping me open this container of freeze dried chicken treats? She knows they are my absolute favorite and because there is only meat in here, I know I can haz.. and I wants..

That sounds like a plan!  Half a jar of treats is better than no treats I guess.

No cats were harmed in the creation of this post. They didn't actually knock it off the counter despite their many attempts. Each received multiple treats and annoyingly they were inhaled before photos could be taken. 

I really appreciate any company that makes single source protein treats because we are limited in what we can feed due to past issues with Jack's health and his inability to deal with carbohydrates without needing medical intervention.

Thank you Chewy for the opportunity. You have made Jack a very happy boy.
