Two Fur Tuesday

I ran low on Silvervine, but I have plenty of nip and fabric left to make Scrapnipping toys if anyone is still interested.

Scrapnipping catnip toys for sale.

We have had a few expensive trips to the vet and we have a few more coming up, so I thought I'd attempt to replenish my cat fund and attempt to make a dent in the fabric I have in my craft room. I made some of these for my last fundraiser and I received quite a few compliments.

I was originally hoping to get these up for sale before Halloween but that didn't happen, so hopefully someone will not mind.  I'm not quite ready to set up a real shop with actual ordering so if you are interested please email me and tell me what you would like and how many. It will be a first come first served situation and if this takes off I'm more than happy to set up a 'shop' with actual inventory.

The catnip toys are 100% cotton fabric. They are various sizes that are about one inch by two inches or two inches by three. They are filled only with a heaping tablespoon of premium catnip that most cats really love.

If you see something you love, mention it. If you want Christmas mention that. I have two Hanukkah ones and I might have more fabric if you would like more. If you don't care, feel free to tell me it is my choice. If you would like larger ones, or smaller ones..  I aim to please.

Price? $2.00 each shipped.  $10 for six, and $20 for a baker's dozen (13)

Update: I have run out of silvervine but I have plenty of super premium catnip toys. I can also make alpaca stuffed toys if you are interested in those as well.

I also made a few toys that are filled with raw alpaca fur and silvervine  They are about the same size, but my silvervine supply is limited so I'm going to sell those for $2.50

If you would like alpaca fur stuffed toys without silvervine I can do that, or if you would like fur and nip, I can do that too. Just shot me an email with your requests.

I'll accept PayPal or mailed in payments. Email me what you want and I'll email you out an invoice once we settle on inventory.

You are using Packing Paper for WHAT??

Fleurp sure does love her packing paper. Whenever we receive something that is packed with paper it is required that the paper ends up on the floor so Fleurp can play with it. She will hang out with it and hide under it and pounce on it until someone vomits on it and I have to take it out. It is a sad day when I do.

This time I decided to do something a bit different with it. See when I was finding the packing paper in my latest package from Chewy my husband was doing this

And yes, I'm sure he is thrilled that I'm sharing these :) but when you are married to a cat blogging woman, you put up with a lot..  Like my favorite Christmas tree ornaments.

Yes, it is untraditional, but it makes me smile and it is a whole heck of a lot easier than unpacking our ornaments hanging them up and then packing them back up in a few short weeks. This way we don't have to worry about the cats and the tree.

So, about that packing paper?

I know it is kinda silly but I really like the 'garland' and the dinosaur

If you'd like to see the tree in previous years, you can check them out here

Will they or won't they hang out with the Catman

Oh, who was I kidding, of course, they would. All kittens love the Catman :)

The kittens are ready to go. It was a fast two weeks but they came so far, especially for how old they are. Taming hissy kittens at this stage in the game isn't easy, so I'm guessing they had some socialization as kittens or they came from very social parents. I think they will do just fine where ever they land, just so long as Prism and Pirate don't end up in homes with kids who don't understand that the kittens need to come to them. Since they are already neutered I imagine they will be up for adoption this weekend and will be in their homes before Monday.
