Fleurp sure does love her packing paper. Whenever we receive something that is packed with paper it is required that the paper ends up on the floor so Fleurp can play with it. She will hang out with it and hide under it and pounce on it until someone vomits on it and I have to take it out. It is a sad day when I do.
This time I decided to do something a bit different with it. See when I was finding the packing paper in my latest package from Chewy my husband was doing this
And yes, I'm sure he is thrilled that I'm sharing these :) but when you are married to a cat blogging woman, you put up with a lot.. Like my favorite Christmas tree ornaments.
Yes, it is untraditional, but it makes me smile and it is a whole heck of a lot easier than unpacking our ornaments hanging them up and then packing them back up in a few short weeks. This way we don't have to worry about the cats and the tree.
So, about that packing paper?
I know it is kinda silly but I really like the 'garland' and the dinosaur
If you'd like to see the tree in previous years, you can check them out here
I must be really tired tonight, because it took me a few moments to realize the packing tape is the garland. LOL. Well, I think the tree is brilliant, any cat's perfect Christmas tree! :-)
ReplyDeleteDo the lights on the ceiling make them nuts? And we were betting on packing paper as tree skirt.
ReplyDeleteHey - that's VERY cool! Looks rustic and fun!
ReplyDeleteOMC, you have the best decorated tree EVER!
ReplyDeleteWe like that tree. And the dinosaur is very cool.
ReplyDeleteOMC! We love your tree! We want the mom to decorate ours that way.
ReplyDeleteI ADORE your tree from the decorations to the garland to the tree topper - I have that exact same tree topper! :) We only have a small tree, one that mounts to the wall (or I should say to the brick over the mantel) and while the tree topper is really too much for the little tree, I don't care. Looking at it makes me smile, and that's what's important!
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful with the fire.
ReplyDeleteLove the packing paper garland idea! I leave mine in the box because there's already enough stuff on the floor, but they have a great time playing and napping in it. When that happens at the same time, well, it's up to them to figure out. When it's all over I reuse it when I ship my own packages or just recycle it. Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! The tree looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool ! We luvluvluv your Christmas tree ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteYou kitties have the fun-nest tree we've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great use of packing paper!
ReplyDeleteOMC! We vote this the best tree we have seen so far this Christmas! Pawsome!
