I bought a bag of salt and vinegar chips the other day and when I opened the bag Fleurp INSISTED that I give her some. Apparently, everything in a crinkly bag is a cat treat. I told her she didn't want one but she didn't believe me, so I offered her one and she went to lick it. I took it back because I knew she wasn't going to eat the whole thing and I broke her off a piece and just to spite me she ate it.
I offered her another piece and wisely said no thanks, but Jack came along a bit later and gave it ago and thought it totally belonged on the floor.
Ick! My human likes that flavor of potato chip sometimes too. I'm not sure it's real food.

ReplyDeleteMy Monkey likes chips, so I always (unless the seasoning has onion or garlic in) break him a teeny, tiny piece - like, smaller than my fingernail, and he thinks he's gotten a super special treat that way lol. Sometimes I pretend it 'fell' so he can think he stole it and he gets so excited :) He likes salt and vinegar but his favourite so far is plain.

ReplyDeleteWe have cats who will beg to be given potato chips. Most of them will beg to get some of whatever we happen to be eating. If we are eating it, it must be good food!
ReplyDeleteI know a cat--not mine--that likes to eat Cheetos Flamin' corn chips out of the bag. He lifts it up so the Cheetos fall into his face and eats them up!

ReplyDeleteRaven loves regular potato chips, but I haven't given her any for a couple weeks because her allergies are flaring up and I don't know why. A previous kitty Loved licking the flavoring off nacho cheese Doritos and Cheetos. But vinegar....that doesn't sound kitty friendly.
