Baked Potatoes

The kittens are doing much better. They finished their medication last week and I emailed the shelter yesterday to let them know that everything is going along with them and since they are of size when they might want them back. I heard back and they are scheduled to leave tomorrow morning.

They are still timid when it comes to new noises and experiences. They will run and hide and make sure that whatever it was isn't coming to get them. I have a neighbor down the road who shoots of fireworks so I know they are okay with that, but the rainbow slinky - that is just evil.

Yukon likes a nice cuddle. He is sweet and very much a bush dweller. He has some adorable rings around his tail. His whiskers are all broken off, I'm not sure if it is a sign of a nutritional deficiency prior to his arrival (the fur on his behind was previously shaved so I'm guessing he had some pretty bad diarrhea) but I am guessing that is the case because his fur feels a bit rough and sparse. I'm sure he is going to blossom into a beautiful mancat now that he is on a regular diet and is feeling better.

Potato is very high energy; total ADD kitten. He knows that I don't like it when he bites me, but he can't seem to help himself. Fortunately, he is very responsive to "ow" and stops biting right away. He also loves playing with my hair, which is adorable.

I'm excited for them to find their own human/s. I'm guessing that they will be in a home by the time the weekend is over.

  7. Too bad that you cannot keep them a bit longer, to make sure the steady diet keeps doing it's thang.

  9. Hope they find homes soon. Are you the one who found the really small kitten collors? I need to know where you found those please. I used the velcro collars when we had twins and triplets and had the same problem with them coming off. Ended up marking the insides of the ear to tell them apart. Don't need them at the moment but am sure I will again. Thanks!
