They received their first vaccine and were dewormed at the end of last week. They didn't much like it and had a bit of reaction to it, being painful and sedate for several hours afterward. About the time I was getting really worried about them they bounced out of it.
Now we have nice solid stools and litter box compliance which is very nice. Now, if we can just get them to start eating on their own. Two of them will eat solid food but Michaela does such a good job nursing they have no real need of solid foods and are neither interested in or excited by food being put down. If this keeps up much longer I am considering returning her back to the shelter and making sure they can eat. As they are closing in on two pounds, eating on their own is kinda important.
Now, for six-week photos..

ReplyDeleteHahahaha, what Random Felines commented!
ReplyDeleteAnd what EAG46 commented: I would have Michaela in my lap in a heartbeat if I could!
What? No way it's been six weeks. NO WAY! How did that happen? But they are adorable and, as always, I'm so jealous of your photos.
ReplyDeleteMichaela is too good of a mom! Those kits are too cute.
ReplyDeleteThey are oh so cute
ReplyDeleteThey are all so adorable. I seriously would take the entire bunch. 4 kittens to keep each other occupied and grow up together would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh they are all sooo darling!
ReplyDeleteSuch cuteness! I wish I could adopt a tortie, but Penny would be mad.
ReplyDeleteAll so roundy-eyed and innocent! Brutus reminds me of Frank Sinatra, only nicer.
