The kittens are doing well.. eating, playing, sleeping and pooping up a storm.. we are making progress with the taming as well, but they are still pretty hand shy, flinching when you go to pat them. Faraday is still far more likely to growl at you then not - which I find oh so endearing but I really shouldn't.
I decided to go down and have dinner with them the other day to prove to them my diet does not consist of kitten.. Maxwell was INSISTENT on finding out what I was doing, and wanted to be very specific about it..
The boys are at weight, Allie has a bit of a way to go in the physical development, and they all have some serious improvement that needs to happen in the attitude department.. I am still hoping they'll simply figure out that I'm not going to eat them and get over it..
Those kittens are tough cookies!
ReplyDeleteAbsolute cuteness!
ReplyDeleteThey'd definitely be scared of me. It probably looks to them that I do eat kitten with all the kisses I give! :)

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like they are quite a project! Knowing you, they will be fine :)
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are challenging and have lots of cattitude. I know they will all come around soon and make loving pets. Your persistence and hard work will pay off.
ReplyDeleteThey are such cuties!!
ReplyDeleteUh oh... a food thief! We have a few of those in our house... Sampson has been known to steal entire loaves of bread, as well as entire slices of turkey right off of your dinner plate.
ReplyDeletesoooo adorable!

ReplyDeleteThe 3rd piccie down is that Maxwell? Look at that face! He's trouble....but adorable...they're all adorable.
ReplyDeleteThey are just so cute. Hope they learn soon that you will not eat them. They don't know yet what they are missing by not allowing some pats, scritches and cuddles. Hugs and nose kisses
