Okay, who shoved us in this box?? |
I took them in, had them vaccinated, got their nails trimmed (sorta, they still really hurt when they tried to climb my leg later, so I'm going to have to do them again) and tested for felv, and the test came up negative..
When we got back home I coated my hands in stress stopper, and took them out of the carrier one by one and patted them with it and put them on Happy Bear. They didn't stay there for more than half a second and quickly found their way under the couch.
ha ha, you can't get me!! |
What, I was hungry! ~Faraday |
I then left them alone for the rest of the day and went back that night to tend to them again. Once again I was something to run from and fear, but we did have some improvement in the amount of time it took them to get over that. Faraday even climbed up on my husband with out anything enticing him to do it. I wonder if these kittens will ever be lap cats.. I keep hoping..
You are really having to use all your mad kitten skillz on these three!
ReplyDeleteThat sure was a big day kittens had. Glad they all finally came out to eat. They are so adorable :-)
ReplyDeleteI see Allie is still working on her stink eye. . .
ReplyDeleteAwww, poor little things. That must have been quite an ordeal for them but I'm sure with your patience they'll eventually figure out that you're good.
ReplyDeleteWe just love seeing their cuteness!
ReplyDeletesigh...get them almost over the hump and then the vet day arrives :) but we bet they bounce back pretty quick
ReplyDeleteThey are coming along, step by adorable step.
ReplyDeleteIt's been challenging...but they're worth it. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope they'll learn to relax with you soon. They are so adorable!
ReplyDeleteHard little nuts to crack! I'm backing you as the winner, though.
