This past weekend was a whirlwind of activity for me. I have a friend coming to stay for a few days and there was a lot of cleaning and chores that needed to be done. I know I overly stressed over the whole thing, but I got caught up in making things perfect that I forgot that good is quite often good enough.

Fortunately my cats were there to remind me.

besides, she is coming to see me anyway, not how clean your floors are.

And of course, my cats were right. I didn't get everything I wanted to do done, but Amy isn't coming to see how clean my floors are, she is coming to snuggle my cats. While we have a few activities planned, one of those is to sit around and spoil my cats silly and stuff them with yummy things to eat.

Cats are good for reminding you what is really important, like taking the time to relax and hang out.
