I also got the "back of disdain from someone who didn't want their photo taken.
I was also shown some baby gerbils that were born at the shelter three weeks ago. They were really cute and in a few weeks they too will go up for adoption.
I really like those shelves. Would love to have those under the windows in my foster room. I'd also love to have that black cat to go along with them. He coordinates so nicely! Guess I will just have to settle for a Norman (who would look quite smart on a yellow shelf, don't you think?)
We love black kitties so much and miss having one. Our sister Thelma went to the RB before any of us, but Lily, were born. That first kitty looks just like her. Hope she finds a really great home. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at www.thecatonmyhead.com, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
The first four photos are all of "Salem" a big ol house panther if I ever saw one.. he is awesome. There were mostly black cats left at the shelter, there were only 12 available for adoption the day I went into take photos..
Our mom wishes our shelter had more rooms with natural light in them - or that she could visit during daylight hours to film some of her videos. She just shot a video of the very last Caboodle kitty we're adopting out - and he's a big ol' house panther too. It's SO hard to keep them from looking like big black blobs in low light! You sure did Salem justice in these - he looks pawesome!
I'm not really into gerbils but those sure are cute. I love the shelves they have in that room.
ReplyDeletelove the new look!
ReplyDeleteand I agree - the shelves at the shelter are great :)
The high windows and shelves are so nice. I'm jealous for the cats at the shelter where I volunteer!

ReplyDeleteWe hope that handsome panther gets a good home! The gerbil is very cute, but wouldn't do very well at our place.

The gerbil is too cute for words! (and so are the catS)
ReplyDeleteWas that all the same black kittie in those first few shots, or did that shelter have a 'black cat' room? A handsome panther, either way.
