While waiting for Lucy's dental on Wednesday, I took some photos of the cats available for adoption simply to take some photos of cats. It's always good to work on my skills, and it must be a welcome diversion for the kitties - because most of them were very much up for it. There were some kitties I would love to share photos of with you, but they wouldn't sit still long enough to get a good photo. There was a wonderful all black kitty that I would have loved to show case - he was awesome, but he was so attention seeking that all the shots were blurry ah well. I don't intend for this to be an sales flyer for these particular cats since the adoption rates are so wonderful at the shelter there is a chance these kitties aren't even at the shelter any more. I really just wanted to say that shelter cats are beautiful..

The last three photos are all of "Freddie" he was such a large hunky mancat.. I so totally fell for him..

The shelter also takes in birds.. This one was very new to the shelter and came in looking like this. Does make for a very dramatic photo though.. (looks better larger)
Paws crossed that all these kitties find homes!

ReplyDeleteMore proof that shelter animals are beautiful? Norm and Charlie. They're a bit scarred and scruffy, but it just adds to the charm and hunk factor.

The cat in photo number 2 looks just like my cat Kitt but Kitt has more white on his head than this cat does! I hope that all of the cats in the photos get new homes soon.
