It's Naming Day

I was a little stumped as to what to call these three since they were totally not 'talking' to me and getting to know their personalities was very hard. It still kind of is. I wanted to call the little black and white one "Gizmo" because she looked like a little gremlin when I picked her up and her ears went back and she wanted anything but to be where she was, but that didn't seem like a good reason to give a kitten a name.

So I thought and I thought and then I thought some more and then inspiration struck..  I would like to introduce you to:

Winifred

Sarah

and Mary

Hopefully they won't be around until Halloween but I simply couldn't resist.  They have made some fairly good strides in accepting that humans are good things, but they still seem think I have every intention of eating them. It is a very smart instinct for them to have but working against it is frustrating.  Despite the fact that they don't seem to like me, they are very good kittens. Watching them play is pure delight.  I'm so glad they are in a safe place where they can start to relax and enjoy that sort of thing.
