Jack, like Muffin, has been showing his age lately. He needs brushing nearly every day or I start finding matted fur. It is a good thing he likes being combed, because I enjoy doing it. I just wish he'd let me comb his belly.
We are so lucky that Boodie doesn't mat usually - as long as my human brushes her even semi-regularly, her fur doesn't cause too many problems (other than looking messy when my human neglects her brushing duties).
Jack is such a gorgeous kitty! My boys have mixed feelings about brushing. Sometimes they let me brush, sometimes not, head is okay but belly is not, etc etc.
