At two pounds they go back to be neutered.. dude, couldn't you have eaten just a bit more this morning???

Lady, you are just weird!! |
He still feels like fur and bones, but I think it will probably be in his best interest to get away from his sisters and into a home of his own (or with one sister) because of how slowly he eats.
I bought home more food for them since they seem to strongly prefer chunked food. I put this on top of the post they climb and Niki and Tiki HAD to investigate. I said this was not a good idea, my husband said, if there is a bad idea, the kittens
will find it..
Heh heh. Maybe he's eating slowly coz he knows what's coming at 2 lbs!
ReplyDeleteExactly... two pounds doesn't mean great things to them like it does to you. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHudson, the fluffiest biggest looking Adams, weighed in at 1 pound 15 ounces yesterday. I could have cried since my vet staunchly refuses to give Capstar below 2 pounds. He looked the other way and said "close enough" for the first time in forever.
They've all grown an insane amount in the last ten days... between 7 and 15 ounces each. The babies are growing up.
A half ounce, come on--drink a little water or something! :-)
ReplyDeleteI hate it when that happens..... I got a kitten back one morning for that very reason!
ReplyDeletethey will get there!
ReplyDeleteI think your husband is right, MOL
ReplyDeleteFinger on the scales should tip it!! Poor little guy. Ouch!
ReplyDeleteLOL...he's so little. Hopefully he'll gain quickly! I forgot what it is like to have kittens investigating everything. I hope he gets a really good home.
ReplyDeleteI guess your husband was right! And how often does that happen? Hardly ever -- at least in my house.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it would be good to feed the little one away from the others where he can take his time and chow down. What a sweetie!
LOL. rarely happens here too.
DeleteI tried, but his sisters are always interested in what he is doing and he gets too into what they are doing. Their ADD is still going pretty strong.
Such a cutie itty bitty!
ReplyDeleteSo full of mischief. Love it!

Oui Oui is a really slow eater and will even stop for the potty box, or watch some birds, so she is kept separate too. If its a good idea, will the kittens find it?
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure these kittens couldn't find a good idea if it was plonked in front of them.
DeleteHe's so cute!

Our suggestion: Give that guy a couple treats, and then weigh him again.
