Bath water after baths |
|
Love you momma |
I took stool samples in to the shelter and left with three medications. Albon, strongid and marquis paste. I gave them the albon and marquis paste tonight and we'll start the strongid tomorrow. The stools are really quite disgusting and it gets all over them. They also climb all over mom so she is a bit of a mess too... not to mention she has her own diarrhea. Paws crossed this time tomorrow things are a little more solid..
Btw, Issac Arnold's head is actually smaller than a ping pong ball. I know because his head fits through the bars on the cage while a ping pong ball won't.
aww tiny :( I want tiny kittehs
ReplyDeleteIck! You might have second thoughts about posting some of these photos - you may be putting my human off the idea of ever fostering kittens, LOL!
ReplyDeletePoor kitten rears ends. We hope that all of them feel better soon! That's quite a daily mess.
ReplyDeletePoor babies, poor Snow and poor YOU! Hopefully the meds kick in quickly and there will be less or preferably, no more of such mess to deal with every day.
ReplyDeleteYipes! What a mess. I hope every kitty gets better really soon. The bath water... Oh my...
ReplyDeleteI will now stop complaining about the mess that my five make in the foster room right now.
ReplyDeleteOkay I think you deserve a medal for battling against this! These poor babies and poor you.......and I thought cleaning three litterboxes was a hassle. Hang in there, it can't get any worse so you can only go up from here!!
ReplyDeletepretty icky at the moment hope it settles soon!
ReplyDeleteOh icky! I hope the meds work pronto!
ReplyDeleteHow cute you all are and we hope the solid shows up soon!
ReplyDeleteHa! The OTHER side of foster care ...
ReplyDeleteAnd I'd better stop complaining about Nicki always peeing directly on the (inside) plastic of the litter boxes. Even he doesn't make as much mess as 6 kittens and 1 mom with poop issues do. LOL. The "joys" of fostering!
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing! It shows you how well under normal conditions it works when Mom takes care of the bathroom issues of her kittens. Thankfully though you are doing everything you can to help and get those babies some firm stools!!!
ReplyDeleteI misread the title to say "Big Bliss" and was about three pictures down before I realized I'd read it wrong. :) Fingers crossed for solid poops, SOON.
ReplyDeleteoh ugh....been there, done that, and you have my sympathies. hope the meds work - QUICKLY!!
ReplyDeleteBTW - I was telling another foster about Isaac escaping from the condo through the bars cause his head is so small and she absolutely cracked up! :)
Sorry Sparkle. Just so you know, this is really rare.. in the 11 years I've been doing this I think I am pretty safe in saying this is the worst it has ever been..
ReplyDeleteAllie: ewwwwwwww
ReplyDeleteFaRADaY: Doods- way ta GO!
Looks quite messy. I hope they get better. You are so great to take such good care of them!
ReplyDeleteOh no. That must be so hard on you. You are so good to take care of them. Really. I hope things firm up quickly!
ReplyDeleteClean up on aisle 4...and 5, 6, 7. 8...oh just clean up everywhere!
ReplyDeleteGood thing those kittens are cute. ;)
Oh, Connie, you are an angel for dealing with all that ickiness voluntarily. We do hope they feel better soon, for everyone's sake. Maybe that's the gray cloud to the silver lining of kittens.
ReplyDeleteMom is a little grossed out, MOL.
ReplyDeletePoor babies and mom too. We hopes efurryone is feeling better soon!

Sending our biggest purrs, prayers and good thoughts that the medications will work for the babies and Snow and that all will normalize for all of them.
ReplyDeleteToday we will purr for solids over there!
ReplyDeleteLots of purrs for the kitties pooping better. Dad did a lot of foster but never with all of them with the D. Goodness.
