Sleeping through the cleaning
So yesterday I did my best to clean the kitten room. I didn't get everything because I've developed a pretty bad and painful cough. I went slow, took lots of kitten breaks, but after several hours I was so tired I gave up. I took a couple of videos, which I'm saving for Monday because they are really cute and who doesn't want cute on Monday?
Sadly stools are still not perfect with the non grey kittens who are still on meds. I got some slippery elm to start them on in hopes that helps. The probiotics so far haven't been much help.
After I had been down there a while the kits decided it was nap time and all went off in separate directions. Most weren't in my way but Smedley and Issac Arnold decided to sleep in the beds in the midst of the mess so I picked them up and put them on the couch.. they slept right through it.
The good news, Issac Arnold is now 8.5 ounces! He is still half the size of his siblings.. I have to wonder if he is a dwarf.. I guess the next few days/weeks will bring an answer to that question..
Btw, if you love Issac Arnold, you will NOT want to miss Monday's post.

Definitely looking forward to the videos on Monday. Hopefully the Slippery Elm will help with the tummies.
ReplyDeleteCannot wait to see the Monday videos - something to look forward to Monday for! Would a little pumpkin help the stools? It helped some with Sunny and Clyde when they were sick... Sending purrs (and coughs... I have the dreaded end of summer cold as well!)
ReplyDeleteSlippery elm was a godsend for Abby. Hope it helps your kitties too. Can't wait for Monday morning kitten videos
ReplyDeleteWe hope that slippery elm does the trick, and we can't wait for Isaac Arnold's video on Monday!
ReplyDeletehope everything starts to work for them (and you feel better soon too). I did have a litter a couple of years ago with one kitten that just was so much smaller than everyone else - turns out she must have had a little munchkin in here as she stayed very small and was about 3 months old before I could get her spayed.
ReplyDeletesounds like he the runt of the litter, hope he continued to gain weight,xx
ReplyDeleteSmall and steady wins the race! Can't wait to see the videos!

They are all so cute, but we do love that Isaac Arnold!
ReplyDeleteI love Isaac Arnold! The cat that came before me was allergic to antibiotics. They GAVE him the runs. Those poor little guys. Sending healing purrz.
