Kittens first raw meal
My husband and I decided to go out last night (we saw Godzilla) and I thought the kittens could use some running around time, so I put some food down, quickly scooped the boxes and walked away.
When I got back a couple hours later, all three of them were cuddled up in the cat condo climber, and I didn't have the heart to take them out and put them back in the cage, so I left them out.
While I was cleaning up the room from the day's activities I noticed that their stools were a little better, so I'm thinking the dewormer is working, but still has a great deal of room for improvement, so I decided to give them some raw food..
do you think they liked it?
This morning I went down and once again they were all piled into the cat condo climber, snoozing away, and I didn't have the heart to lock them up. They had made a bit of a mess, with litter and food particles strewn about the room, they even made it up onto the couch - because there were bits of litter up there too.. but that's okay.. I'll clean it up when I get home from work.

ReplyDeleteemma and buster
Three little piglets. :-) So cute to see them eating, and great to see them devouring species-appropriate food.
ReplyDeleteThat raw food looks tasty! My human brought raw food home from the pet store a few weeks ago and I was the only one who liked it right away - Binga and Boodie only ate it after they realized it was all they were getting.
ReplyDeleteHi there! I am also from BlogPaws and wanted to let you know that I saw your site...as I see you were wondering! What cute kitties!! Adorable!!
ReplyDeleteThat's great that they are making themselves at home! Cute as ever. How's the curmudgeon lynx point? ;)
ReplyDeleteThey sure are liking the raw!
ReplyDeleteFaraday: yah, you go doods! Raw is nomilicious! Baby F, be sure you eat some of baby Allie's food, 'k? No time like the present to learn how to get on her nerves.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious, Connie. What type and brand of raw food did you feed the babies? Did you ground it up for them? They sure loved it. Made me hungry.
ReplyDeleteHi Roberta,
DeleteI feed Bravo Chicken to my own cats, so that is what I gave the kittens. I used to make my own, but grinding for seven cats was a bit too much for me. I still will make a batch for them from time to time using the recipe from catinfo.org but I don't cook it
Thank you, Connie. I will check it out next time I go to the pet store. The kittens sure loved it.
DeleteThat is a whole new level of nom, nom, nom!
