Monday Morning Kitten Time

We are back to our regular scheduled morning check in with the kittens. Fortunately things are going *knock wood* very well with the kittens. They are generally pretty fat and happy. They play hard and sleep hard and are generally freakingly adorable.

Lovey is showing her playful side. She is starting to play with her kittens and toys. She is still very overprotective of her kittens. I had to block off the windows because Skippy likes to sit on the outside and look in when we are visiting with the kittens. She has also been looking for him when I enter and exit the room, and it isn't to say hi. She growls and floofs her tail. I am hoping this ends soon.

I also cleaned up the kitten room last night. I have to say it was utterly gross. I am so hoping that now that they are five weeks old they have a firm grasp on their natural instincts that going in litter is a good thing.

This was a dog toy I found at an outlet store. It was too cute to pass up.  I had great plans squirrels running everywhere, but I was too tired to try after cleaning up the kitten room, and I just love the minion aspect of this..
