Warning, if you are faint of heart, if super cuteness gets to you and makes you pass out, take precautions because I will not be held liable for your response to these photos.
I decided it was time to try to get a few more photos of the kittens. Since I was able to reach in and touch Art3mis without losing a finger, I decided to risk taking a kitten.
one of the boys.
and that went well enough that I decided to try another.
the solid black girl
and another
Classic Tabby Girl
Girl with white (like her mom)
Tiger boy
I did get all six out, but I'm going to leave the final boy for my Wordless Wednesday post tomorrow, because I'm just that mean.
Art3mis was not happy with me removing her kittens from her line of sight, but she let me and didn't have a lot to say about my doing it. Next week they'll be wandering around on their own.
Major progress and mom cannot stop squeeeeing.

ReplyDeleteSQUEEEEE!!!! .... thud!
ReplyDeleteCan you hear my squeeing???
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning! Those widdle stick tails...oh my!
ReplyDeleteSQUEEE!! The first little guy - are his eyes okay? They seem to be the opposite of cross-eyed, whatever that is called.
ReplyDeleteHe looks a little concerning because his third eyelid is showing, but I woke him up out of a sound sleep, so he was a little groggy.
DeleteKittens are born with their eyes closed, and it takes about a week for them to open. Once they do they don't have very good control over their focus and direction, so most of what they see is fuzzy and out of focus. Like learning to walk, and learning to control their claws, learning to focus on things is something they have to learn. If you look at all the other photos, you'll see he wasn't the only one.
I love that all black girl pic with her tail straight up. So cute!
ReplyDeleteAw, you left the half black/half grey boy out for tomorrow! That is mean... :-(
