I'm not yet sure I'm going to keep this camera. It is nice, but it is very slow in taking a photo and even in super auto mode, half the shots so far have been out of focus. I'm going to play with it for a few more days and make up my mind. I got it from HSN, so I can return it if I decide to. If I do, I'm just going to bite the bullet and buy myself a really good camera.. one of those ones I drool over..

You certainly have great resolution with this camera! Pretty much any high-res camera is going to be a bit slow since there is so much data to take in.

That is true, but it takes a full second longer on this camera then my old digital from push of button to capturing the photo. Which means kittens run off, adult cats actually move out of the frame or just move so the focus is totally off. I don't mind the delay AFTER the shot is taken as much, but it is the preshot delay that I'm having a hard time with.
ReplyDeleteI tried it on 'action' mode, and I wasn't thrilled with the results of that either, but again I'm really new with the camera, so we'll keep at it.
