I was trying to get video of Minerva and her love of hunting birds. If there were a category of bird hunting cats like there are dogs, I'm sure she would rank quite high up. She throws herself in the air with abandon to catch the toy, but once the kittens started walking around she was much more careful.
Unfortunately the flip camera has such a small window, and I could only get so much action with her being an arm's length away from me. Forgive the quality of the video, and just enjoy the fun of it..
Those kittens are sure cute. Minerva is pretty too. She looks pretty tame to us. At least she plays with the toys. I can't get Maggie to do that. Take care.

ReplyDeleteShe is "tame" as opposed to feral.. but she has no social skills. She lashes out when she is unhappy and I believe she doesn't understand that biting and scratching are not proper behavior for a young lady. We are working hard on impulse control with her.
