Thankful Thursday

As I am surfing around the bloggosphere this morning, I keep running into "Thankful Thursday" posts.  Always a good idea to be reminded that there are things to be thankful for.  Especially since I have been stewing about a few things.  My husband is leaving for the weekend (helping his sister move a few states away), kitties getting hbc, my weight/dr, and the fact that I didn't get any Milu items from the recent Jason Wu/Target collaboration.  My local Target didn't even bother to carry it, and the other two were hours away in opposite directions.  We picked one and went to it and they had two non-kitty shirts left in sizes way too small for other Whovian Mices.. (wait..  A Grinch reference?? well yes, I guess that is appropriate)  I mean you would have thought they would have learned after the last "designer collaboration" release and how upset everyone was that they couldn't get anything.  I so want a tote.. so I've been looking on Ebay, and every time I do I get more and more upset because it seems that people just went in and cleaned out the stores of merchandise simply to sell it on Ebay!! I mean there are 877 items for sale doing the simple search of wu target cat.  Take out the cat part of that and there are over TEN THOUSAND ITEMS!!  arrgh..

wait.. this was supposed to be THANKFUL Thursday, not rant your verbal diarrhea all over Thursday.. I'm sorry folks..

So.. Things I am thankful for, beyond the health of my own Crew ...

I got an email from the shelter today.  Apparently they are so well stocked, they are emailing dedicated foster homes and asking them to come stock up on supplies for the upcoming season!!  I mean how wonderful is that?

I'm also very thankful that their Spay/Neuter clinic is doing so well.    I so wish I had the time/energy to volunteer at it.  (they start at 7, so technically i could show up and help for an hour or so but getting up that early... well lets just say that is one thing I would not be thankful for)

I'm also thankful that I just finished a huge tedious project at work.. And the sun is shining, and the weeping pussy willow table top tree is blooming and looks adorable (if not a little anemic)

And for my cashmere bed sheets that I spent WAY too much money for but are oh so comfy and cozy.. and the electric blanket on top of them that my sweet husband turns on for me so when I get to bed it is warm and such a luxurious treat

and chocolate.  Really good chocolate.. and mini eggs.. (which isn't really good chocolate, but are really good!)
